One of the days Dan had to stay for a little while at the hotel and write a paper for his class and I left Kaysha with him to take a nap while Revin and I went and enjoyed California Adventure. It was fun with just Revin and I. He volunteered to be a soldier with the Toy story sodiers, we went and saw the playhouse disney show, and found a few characters a long the way.

That night my Mom and Dan let Kaysha hang out and fall asleep in their room and Dan and I took Revin to the World of Color show. Revin fell asleep in the stroller before it even started, but Dan and I had a great time, it was really cool to watch!

The next day we spent the day at Disneyland going on rides with our kids. It was fun this year because Revin was tall enough for pretty much every ride. Even my personal favorite Space Mountain... he went once with Dan and once with me.

Lightning Mcqueen and Mator would have to be the highlight of Revin's trip. He is so obsessed! We were way sad Cars Land wasn't open yet, not until next year. He is so excited about cars 2 coming out that we will have to be the first in line!

The place we stay at when we go to California is right across the street from Disneyland, so we can walk back and forth easily. The kids love just swimming in the pool there too. I was glad that they had so many cousins to play with, it kept them both entertained.

We also went to and Angels game. We had really good seats and it was fun to watch live. It was so great to have my Mom and Dan's mom there. Kaysha refused to go to me pretty much the whole trip because she had so many other fun people there :)

We spent one of our afternoons at the beach. I love the beach! It is so great just to lay and relax while my kids play. It was overcast, but we still got a little burnt. My kids love playing in the sand and wandering around.

For Easter this year we took a little family trip to Lake Powell. We never know what either one of our families are going to do, so we just decided to plan a trip ourselves. We stayed in a hotel in Page and just took it easy for a few days. Dan took us out on his little fishing boat and dropped us off on a sandy beach while he fished for a while. The kids loved it and enjoyed the sunshine... infact I enjoyed it a little too much and my shoulders payed for it

This month was also my birthday. I am 27 now, which feels a little older than the other ones for some reason. We also finished up with the year of dance. On my birthday I taught dance in Cedar from 3-5 and then had the Parowan dance recital from 6-8. So it was a busy day, still good though. On friday I had a solo competition that I went to that all of my solo girls competed in and then on Saturday I had team competition. Then this Tuesday I just had my first Cedar dance recital. So I have been one busy lady, but it all turned out really great. Here is a picture of all the cute girls that I taught solos and duets to. Six of them took queen! It was like a Sunshine Dance sweep :)

March came and went so fast it is crazy! We are excited for the warm weather to get here and to be able to play in our backyard that Dan did for us last year. On the nice days Revin spends all day in his sandbox or riding his tractor, and Kaysha usually is eating the sand or wandering out in the road. (Good thing no one but us lives on our street) :) Kaysha skipped the walking part and is running all over the place. Her favorite thing to do is run outside. She loves the outdoors. She is always telling me "side" which means that she wants to go outside. Revin is an awesome big brother and they play so good out there together. I am so thankful to have a couple of back doors to our backyard, because our old house didn't have that. We are so much happier here! Revin is still loving preschool and he is getting so so smart. He knows all of his letters and what sounds they make. He has really learned a lot this year. Kaysha just started nursery and so far she has loved it. She was good as gold (we will see how long that lasts). She can be quite the dramatic one, if something doesn't go her way watch out! She loves putting on necklaces or things that are "pretty". She is always carrying around a baby doll wrapped up in a baby blanket and kissing it and loving on it. She is such a girl!

Revin's Birthday

Revin turned 4 on February 24th. It is really crazy to me to think that I already have a four year old. He is getting so big and so smart! He got to celebrate his day by having a birthday party with his friends and cousins at the new aquatic center. I think it was the best day of his life! He had so much fun swimming with all of his friends there. Every present he got he was like "Wow" or "that's awesome!" He is a pretty sweet kid. He got a leapster from Dan and I and he could play that thing all day, he loves it! He also got a bunch of puzzles which is great because puzzles are his favorite thing to do. It is funny because I swear I didn't have any puzzles when I was a kid. I think my Mom was an anti-puzzle person, which I can understand because they are kind of a pain to keep track of all the pieces. Anyways, he had a great 4th birthday, and when he went to bed that night he said "Mom, can it be my birthday tomorrow too?"

January has been pretty busy and cold for us! Right now I am teaching dance three times a week with solos and duets, and we have been doing quite a few performances. I have also been going almost every weekend to drill team competitions to watch my niece Haley, and just get new ideas. My kids are keeping me busy too! We are still working with Kaysha on walking. She just refuses to do it. She would rather just crawl about. I wasn't ever too worried about it until now because she is almost 17 months. Hopefully she will soon! Anyways, with all of the cold there was one nice day in January and it was President's day so Dan had it off work. We packed up the kids and went to Quail. Kaysha and Revin just played in the sand and had a great time. Dan caught a few fish and let Revin reel them in. I just enjoyed all the vitamin D I could get :) Cedar City also got a new aquatic center that opened this month. I am so excited for my kids to be able to go there. It isn't too far from our house. I was sad I didn't get any pictures because Revin had a ball! The last weekend in January was my parents 29th Anniversary so we went to St. George to celebrate. My Mom was working at the temple that day, so Dan and I, Jamie, Joey and my Dad met her there and went through a session. We don't get down there as often as we should, so it was really nice to have an excuse to go. Afterwards some more family met us and we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. That pretty much sums up our January.

We had a great Christmas this year. It gets a little more fun each year as our kids get older. For Christmas Eve we went to my Mom's and went caroling and then had dinner and opened our PJ's. You will notice in the pictures that Kaysha has one eye that is slightly smaller and more swollen than the other, that is because she feel off of our counter and landed on her head giving her a big bump on her forehead and a black eye. Poor girl. I was super nervous because she cried for like one minute then fell directly asleep, but she is ok. Revin got his "Big Green Tractor" that he has been singing about and Kaysha was in love with her baby that she can put to bed. Dan got me an awesome picture of the St. George temple from Tai Pan. I love it!

Adam's Homecoming

My little brother Adam came home on October 12th. He flew right in to the Cedar City Airport so it was tons of fun to be able to see his plane come there and have all the kids there cheering and holding signs. This picture is of him with all 21 nieces and nephews. I think he was pretty overwhelmed at first because of how many of us were there and how loud and excited we were:) He served his mission in Tijuana Mexico so he came home with a super tan face until you get to his neck where his colared shirt starts, it is a pretty funny farmers tan! Anyways he looked great, and it was so fun to see him after two years. He had never met Kaysha before, but she will go right to him and lay on his shoulder, it is pretty cute. Then I swear Revin remembers him from before because he didn't skip a beat, just acted like Adam was his best friend. While we were all together on Sunday for Adam's homecoming we got this huge family picture. I turned out a lot better than expected because I was trying to make Kaysha keep her headband on and Revin was pouting, but you would never know it :)

FALL IS HERE

I am so excited fall is here! It puts me in a mood that I want to clean my house and make cookies :) Anyways, I love this time of year. We are getting really excited for Adam coming home in less than two weeks! It will be so good to have him back. We are keeping busy with Dan's job and hunting and with me teaching dance two days a week instead of one. We are loving it though! Revin just started pre-school. He goes to Skill Builders Pre-K. A lady just teaches it out of her basement in Fiddler's Canyon, but she has anything and everything you can think of. It looks like a mini- kindergarten room. He absolutely loves it! He is still the funniest guy ever and is always cracking us up. We have to be careful about what we say around him, because he tells everyone EVERYTHING. He will tell you words his dad uses and all... but we are trying to work on that with him (and with Dan). Kaysha just turned one. The year went by too quick it was crazy! She just crawls around like a mad lady or does the stink-bug crawl when she is outside. She still thinks Revin is the greatest, most entertaining person ever, so as long as he is around to play with she is good! She can be quite the drama queen, but most the time she is pretty sweet. We love having a girl in the house, it is so fun!

Our back yard is now finished which is so nice to be able to let the kids go out and play. Dan worked super hard on it and it looks really nice. Anyways, that is pretty much what we have been up to lately :) Here are some pictures Heather took of Kaysha and a few of her 1st Birthday Party:

Summer

We celebrated Dan's birthday on July 24th. It is kind of hard to know just how to celebrate because it is also Mark and Greg's birthdays, so we usually do a little get together. This year Dan had to drive our ward's float down the parade. We let Revin ride in the back with a squirt gun and he thought it was the greatest thing ever :) Afterwards we went with Dan's family to Pizza Factory to celebrate. It was kind of sad because Dan was the only one who showed up. Greg did finally come about a half hour late and Mark never came. But we celebrated anyways :) I forgot my camera though, so I only have pictures of the parade.

I also had to share this picture because Revin loved this girl. I have been taking Revin to Gold's Gym Child Care when I go work-out since he was three months old. He loves it there! He cries when I make him leave. Since he has been there for over three years he has grown really attatched to the girls that work there, and they love my kids too. Well this girl who Revin thinks her name is actually "Teacher" has been there since we starting going and she told us she was moving to Richfield. She is Revin's favorite, so on her last day Revin took her a rose and a picture he colored. He was so cute because he said "I love you teacher, and I will miss you" It was kind of sad though! Anyways, just thought I would share.

Bryce Canyon

We took a fun little family trip a couple of days ago to Bryce Canyon National Park. Dan had a geology assignment that he had to visit a National Park and write a paper on it, so we decided to go there. It really is such a pretty place. We should go more often since it is only about one hour and 15 minutes away. Plus, I used to work at Ruby's Inn for a little moment of my life, so I have a few fond memories. Anyways, the kids loved it. Revin thought the canyon was tons of little castles. We went on a little family hike which is much harder lugging around a 10 month old, but we had a great time together!

Panguitch Lake and Kidney Stones

It has been a little bit of a rough one this week at our house. Dan's co-worker called me on Tuesday and told me to go to the E.R. because he had just taken Dan there because he was throwing up and almost to pass out because a pain in his back was so bad. I got back in the E.R. and Dan (who is a tan guy) was white as a ghost and looked near death. He had never experienced anything so painful in his life. A scan showed that it was a kidney stone and they gave him pain medicine and sent him home telling him it would pass on its own. Well pain medicine makes Dan sicker than a dog, so as you can see our week was filled with pain and puking. So not fun! By Friday he was doing a little better and so we still decided to go camping with his family like we had planned. It started hurting major again once we got up there, but it finally did pass, so he was able to survive :) Anyways, we spent Friday night and all day Saturday at Panguitch Lake. For those of you who know me well know that I am not the best camper, but I was a trooper and went. The kids had tons of fun, and Dan of course went fishing.

Time Flies

I haven't been very great about posting lately, so I thought that I would post a few new pictures and things that we have been up to.

Dancing is finished for the year. We finished up with our Dance Review and Dance competition the end of April. They did so awesome... superiors in every single dance we competed. It was a fun year, but it is good to have a tiny break until summer lessons start.

Kaysha is doing great. She has two new teeth that she loves to bite with! She is getting cuter everyday, and it really is so fun to have a little girl! She loves Revin more than anyone, I just hope it lasts.

Revin is 3 now. He really is so so smart! He amazes me every day with the little things that he knows and I have no idea where he knows them from. He loves showing off that he can sing his ABCs, draw a picture of anyone, count in spanish, and that he knows all of his shape... even an oval... the sad thing is that I think he might learn it all from watching Nick Jr :) He is such a good big brother and so sweet to Kaysha.

We have been trying to work on the outside of our house lately. We got the rock done around the archway, put up new shutters, got our sod in, now we are waiting on a block wall that should be done in June and a little more rock work on the front, but we are so excited that it is all coming together! Other than that Dan is just super busy which is good and bad, and I am enjoying the summer with my kids and getting ready for summer dance classes :)

This Easter we went camping at Sand Hollow. It was so much fun! Dan took his boat so he could fish, and take the kids on boat rides. I spent my time enjoying the warm weather and shopping with my mom and sisters. Revin was completely entertained just playing in the sand with all of the cousins, and Kaysha was just nice as usual. I was so glad to be able to get out of the snow here in Cedar and enjoy the outdoors. We camped with Jamie and Joey's family in my Mom and Dad's trailer. It was really nice.

Good Times

I thought I better post about things other than potty training, which by the way is going very well now. Last weekend we took a trip to Richfield to visit Dan's grandparents and go to a farewell party for his cousin that is in the army. We had a fun little lunch at a roller skating rink. It was super fun (mostly for Dan) Revin refused to try to skate with us and instead just ran around while people were running him over with their skates. He is such a social little bug, I didn't even hardly see him the whole time because he was too busy making friends or begging people for pop. Kaysha was loved and tended by everyone around. I only skated for a little bit, but Dan was trying moves from back in the day like skating backwards and spinning to stop. I told him if he just slapped some sequins on himself that he could be on the US figure skating team! It reminded me of the days at Cedar's roller skating rink. I have so many fun memories there, I can't believe they shut it down.

Let me just let you all know that though Revin has been "pee trained" for almost 5 months, he has never pooped in the potty, not even once. It is so sad because he holds it in for days at a time because he knows how in troube he is if he poops in his pants. It is SUCH a process! Anyways one night his belly was hurting so bad and I knew he needed to go so we did a suppository that he just about thought ruined his life, and then he we sat with him until he had no choice but to go... Anyways sorry for too much info, but we have always promised him that if he would poop in the potty he would get to meet Mac (the deisel from cars). He would not give the idea up. As soon as he went he said "Lets go meet Mac"! So... my dad is really close friends with Mac apparently, and so he hooked Revin up with a little ride! It made his whole life! He loved it. Mac was super stuck from setting there all winter, but Revin said Grandpa woke him up. He got to steer and even honk Mac's loud horn. We totally thought that this would be the trick that would make him change his ways... but here we are four days later and no second attempt to poop AHHHHHH! What will we do? I guess another suppository!

Kaysha is 4 months old now! Time has flown by so fast! She is such a sweet little girl. She is at 15% in her weight, 12% in her height, she is small but very proportianate! She LOVES her bottle, sleeps like an allstar from 8:30 to 7:30, and loves to goo and smile. I had someone ask me the other day if she was mobile yet and I just laughed because she hasn't even rolled over yet! She is such a content baby that she just lays on her back and looks around. She has been so much fun these past four months!

We had a great Christmas this year. It is getting more exciting as Revin gets older and knows who Santa is. He was so excited this year which made Dan and I probably even more excited than him. Santa brought him almost every Cars movie character there ever was and a cars race track. He just kept saying "Mom I love this!" Kaysha got a doll and, of course, some new clothes. 2009 brought some trials and a lot of blessings. I am so thankful to be in our new home and to have our baby Kaysha here and that our little family is happy and healthy. I am looking forward to a new year and I hope it brings great things for everyone!

Kaysha was blessed on December 6th. She looked so darling in her cute little dress and Dan did such a great job. We ate lunch afterwards at the SUU Mountain Center that my dad takes care of. We love our families, they are so supportive. Everyone in my family was there except Adam who is on his mission... even Stacia and Taylor came from Vegas. It was a very special day! Kaysha is doing really great! I got her some medicine that helps her a bunch and she has been a whole new baby. She smiles and goos and is getting cuter every day. She has hazel eyes which I just love because her middle name is Hazel. She wouldn't smile for us in the pictures, but they still turned out pretty cute!

Happenings

I thought I had better do a little update on my blog since it has been a while. We are doing good! Revin finally decided he liked to pee in the toilet so that is a bonus! He just gets funnier every day and his whole life revolves around the cars movie. He also amazes me with how many songs he can sing along to, we always sing to the radio in the car. He loves Miley Cyrus, Party In The USA. He is so funny! Kaysha is growing and getting cuter everyday. I really think I might go get her ears pierced today. I know some people will probably think I am crazy, but oh well. I think it is cute and I would rather do it while she is small so that I can take care of them.

I am way excited because in January my Mom and I are going to start teaching clogging in St George! We are teaching at the Diamond Talent Productions studio on Thursdays. Right now St George has no clogging teachers so we thought that it would be the best time to start. I am so happy because I teach dance in Parowan every Tuesday, and I love that, but I miss clogging a whole bunch.

So I know that I have been a very bad blogger, but things have been pretty busy. Kaysha has acid reflex pretty bad and so we are struggling through it. I hate feeding her because it hurts her after she eats. I feel so bad for my mom because I know I had it ten times worse then her as a baby and I seriously don't know how my mom dealt with it. She said my Grandma Evans helped her out a lot. Anyways, other than that we are doing great! We had a fun Halloween and I did get around to taking a few pictures. Revin was really fun to dress up this year, we sprayed his hair black and I got creative and made his costume. He loved trick or treating, he would just say "trick or treat" and then just walk right in their house to find his candy. He is one of a kind!

Kaysha was born at 7:14 in the morning on September 16th. She weighed 5lbs 14 oz and is 17 inches long. We are so thankful that she is here and doing awesome! She is going to be the biggest daddy's girl in the world because Dan is already so protective of her and takes care of her so good! Revin is still trying to get used to having a new baby at the house. He wants to tickle her and tackle her, so we will have to watch him very closely. Don't ask me who she looks like, because I seriously still don't know. They change so much at first so who really knows. Anyways we are all doing great and we feel very blessed that everything went well.

After the longest wait of finding out results ever, I found out this morning that the baby is ready and she will be here tomorrow morning at about 7:00 AM. We are so excited! I will be sure to post a bunch of pictures and stuff!

Stacia had her baby this morning. He weighed 8lbs 13oz. They named him Dawson. Cute huh? I feel bad because she had him in Vegas and the doctor told me I can't travel anywhere at this point, so I hope they come to visit soon. My amniocentesis is on Monday the 14th, so we will see if she is ready by then or not. I am excited and a little nervous about the adjustment that another baby will bring. I can't wait to see what she looks like! Dawson is my parent's 19th grandchild and Kaysha will be #20.

All we have been doing lately is moving and unpacking and organizing and Holy Cow it is so time consuming! I still don't have pictures of all of the house yet, because I am waiting on couches and blinds. Here are a few pictures though. Revin found the scarf and hat while we were unpacking, he is such a nerd. He loves our jaccuzi tub and refuses to bath in his own. He calls it his swimming pool. He has been kinda bored with out all of my family around to entertain him, so he finds little things to entertain himself. I will try to get more pictures soon!

Quick Update

I don't have my little photo card reader hooked into my computer here at my parent's house, so I am kind of boring and don't have pictures of the 4th of July or anything. I just thought that I would give you all a quick update of our lives.

The baby is still doing really great and growing along with me. I have an amniocentesis scheduled for Septhember 15th, if her lungs are developed she will be born on September 16th if not the doctor will wait another week to try again. I am getting so excited to get to see her and find out what she looks like.
We are living in Parowan with my parents and it has been really great. Dan is gone pretty late in the summers, so it is good to have people to hang out with and talk to. Revin is in seventh heaven. I don't know what he will do when we leave. My parents downstairs is pretty much like our own little apartment they even have a fridge down there for us. We love the Parowan 1st ward and wish that it could move to Cedar with us.
The bank accepted our offer on our new house and we are so excited! If everything goes to plan we should be closing on it on August 10th or around there. It is in Mountain shadows and has its own little Elementary school that Revin can just walk to one day, and a nice church building.

Goodbye House

So you probably all know that we have had our house for sale for ever, and it just won't sell with the way things are right now so we have decided to rent it out for a year and then maybe try selling it again or keep renting it, whatever works best. We are moving out this weekend and a nice young family will be moving in. We found the most beautiful house and put in an offer, but it is a short sale so it may take a while for the bank to accept or decline. I hope everything works out. For right now we are moving in with my Mom and Dad while we wait for them to accept an offer and close on the house. It is going to be quite the adventure. Who knows, I might have a baby before we can get moved into a new house. Crazy! I will miss this little house, I have grown pretty attached, it is just that it is so small and with another little person it will seem even smaller. So anyways, wish us luck! I hope Revin can handle all the big transitions that will be coming his way!

Thanks to the great advice that I have been getting, I have decided to wait to potty train until Revin is ready. I swear it almost did me in after three days of trying. He is a stubborn little guy that will do it when he is ready and I really do want to enjoy our little time together with just us before the baby gets here.

I am potty training Revin this week, and I want to give up so bad! It is hard. I really want him to be potty trained before the baby gets here. Today is day 2 and I still don't feel like he is getting the point. He holds it in until he is shaking, but will not go on the potty. Does anyone have any good advice?

OUR VACATION Day 1 Knotts Berry Farm

Last week we headed to California with my family and some of the Cloggers. We stayed in a place right across from Disneyland so it was really nice and convenient. We started out at Knott's Berry Farm. They had a little Snoppy Village full of kid rides that Revin loved. While Dan went and rode the big rides (that I couldn't go on) with Haley, my dad was a good sport and went on a few rides with Revin. Before we left Dan and I took Revin on the log ride. He loved it even though he lookes petrified in the picture.

The motel we stayed at had a nice big pool for the kids. Revin loved swimming with his cousins. We also went to Disneyland I was excited because Revin knows every Disney character and can name them all,but I'm not going to lie he was a huge terd. That is why 2 year olds get in free! Day 4 The Beach

We went to a really nice beach called Balboa Beach. I just relaxed in the sunshine and Revin was totally entertained playing in the sand with his cousins. I forgot to put sunscreen on myself and my legs were really sunburnt, but nothing like my Dad's. He has huge sunburn blisters Owww!

Day 5 Universal Studios

My favorite part about Universal Studios is always the studio tour, I think it is pretty neat to see all of the movie sets. I also love the Jurrasic Park ride, but I couldn't go on it this time, so Dan and Heather did. They had an indoor playplace that was full of soft balls and all sorts of machines you could put them into. Revin had a blast. He is playing with Braden in the pictures.

Fishing with Dad

This weekend we took the little fam camping at Yankee. It really is so pretty there. This was our first camping outing with Revin. He loved it! Right when we arrived at the lake he walked right out into the water completely soaking his pants, socks, and shoes. I didn't bring extra socks or shoes, so they had to dry out by the campfire which made me so glad to bathe the little stink head when we got home. Anyways we took a little camper and built a fire and just camped out like true little campers do. We roasted marshmallows at night and Dan made us breakfast burritos in the morning. Dan caught quite a few fish and I caught a couple too! I have to say the worst part was being pregnant and having to pee every second... Other than that it was great and quite the little adventure that our little family will remember.

Our Weekend and Other Big News!

On Saturday Dan took Revin and I fishing on his boat. We went to New Castle. Dan's boat ran great and I even caught one fish! We had a fun little family outing. It was so cold when we first got there, but then it warmed right up and was really nice. The next day we had a great Mother's day. We went to church with Dan's mom then when to my mom's house for dinner. Adam called that night and it was so good to talk to him. I am so thankful for my mom and I am thankful to be a mom.

In Other Big News:

We found out today that we are having a little baby girl! We are both so excited! Yay! Revin came with us to the ultrasound and saw the "movie" of the baby. He thought that it was pretty exciting. He will be such a good big brother. Dan and I are still deciding on names, though we have a few in mind. We want something kind of unique because Revin is so unique. I like the name Kaysha a lot, but we will have to see.

So I turned 25 on Tuesday. It feels crazy to be 25, I still feel like I am eighteen and most people think I am a pregnant teenager with a 2 year old. I had a good birthday, I pretty much just stayed home and did my thing as usual and then I had to teach Dance which all the girls sang to me like four times. Then I had Pizza with my Mom and Dad, Dan, and Jamie and Joey. I have been super busy because my dancers just got done with competition and the Dance Review is tonight. They have done really awesome this year, and it is always a little sad when the year comes to an end.

This was me on my actual "birth"day. My face is so fat that my eyes are squished! I was 8lbs 3oz., pretty big baby.

Ok so my doctor told me that they can't do the ultrasound until I am 20 weeks, and with Revin I found out at 18 weeks, so I asked him if I could have it sooner. He told me that on my next apppointment if he is not really swamped that he will hurry and do an ultrasound to tell me if it is a boy or girl. So I am keeping my fingers crossed. I am hoping to find out on May 8th. I think it is fun to have a poll, so participate ok!

Easter Weekend

Our Easter weekend started on Thursday afternoon when we went to the Clark County Fair in Logandale Nevada. We took Revin on a few rides which he totally loved and then we went to the Rodeo that night with my Mom and Dad and Jamie and Joey. It was a really good rodeo and we had a fun time.

That night we drove on to Vegas and stayed at the Riviera on the strip. The next morning we went to the MGM Grand to see the lions. We were pretty bummed because they didn't come out until 11 and we got there at 10. We took a few pictures anyways. Then we went to bass pro shops of course because Dan couldn't pass it by. It is always fun to go and see their huge aquarium and show Revin the fish.

On Saturday we went to Parowan's Easter egg hunt. Revin really didn't get the concept of picking anything up, so Dan had to help him. Afterwards we had lunch at Grandma Debbie's house, and later that evening we went to my niece Emmy's baptism. We had a great Easter!

Yay! I have been so excited, but I wanted to wait just incase anything happened. I am now 9wks and 4days Pregnant. I had a miscarriage in October which was crappy, and this one started out kinda crazy and I didn't find out I was pregnant until I was almost 6 weeks. But everything looks good, I went to the doctor today and got an ultrasound. The heart beat was good, and the size was good, and we are so excited! Revin needs a sibling so that he has a little friend and doesnt think the whole world revolves around him. I love Revin so much and can't wait to have another little person join our family. We are kinda hoping for a girl, but we will be so happy either way! Tell me what you think, do you think this will be a BOY or a GIRL?

Look Who's Two!!

Revin turned two on February 24th. He got to have two parties. One at Grandma Debbie's and one at Grandma Camp's. He had a great time and was very spoiled by everyone!

Tyson gave Revin a cool race track that was the hit of the party! Everyone wanted to play with it.

It is so crazy to me that Revin is already two! Time has flown by. He is no longer a baby, but a little boy. He is totally obsessed with the Cars movie. Grandma Evans

My sweet little Grandma Evans passed away this morning at about 5:30 in the morning. She had a hard time leaving this world, but I think Grandpa helped to pull her along. It is so crazy that all of my Grandparents are gone now... I have so so many memories with my Grandma and Grandpa Evans and I am so happy that they can be together again. I love them so so much! I felt so bad for not being able to say goodbye to Grandpa Evans, that I made sure I was there to say goodbye to my Grandma and tell her how much I love her. My Grandma's house was always a place of refuge for me. I went there whenever I was real sad, and she would make me feel so much better.

A few memories... When I was little I used to get so mad that other people called her Grandma, because I thought that she was only my Grandma.

-I remember going to her house for lunch sometimes and she would make the best sandwiches with thick butter on the bread and vienna sausages ( it might not sound good, but I loved it!)

-I remember Mrs. Davis locking me out of her classroom in the 7th grade because I was late for a test, I was supposed to go to the principals office, but instead went crying to Grandma. She was so mad at that teacher she about marched up to the school herself. Instead she called my Mom and told her she ought to tell that teacher how it is!

-I remember so many times having sunburns and Grandma Evans putting her Aloe from her Aloe Vera plant on me, and it would feel so much better. She could fix any hurt and heal any sickness. When I got pneumonia in high school and I was sick as a dog for weeks. In fact I lost tons of weight because I couldn't eat a thing. My Dad and Mom went on a date one night and left Adam and I with Grandma Evans so she could tend my sickly self. Grandma made me some of her famous homemade chicken noodle soup and I swear after that I was cured!

-She always wanted to take care of everyone around her and was the sweetest Perfect Grandma. I will miss her so so much, but I am so thankful that she is no longer in pain, that she can think perfectly and clearly, and that she is reunited with her loved ones who have passed on before her.

Happenings

So a lot has been going on lately, and I have been a busy body. Dan and I are getting ready to go on a cruise on Wednesday. It is just a short weekend one, but we are excited. We are going to Ensenada Mexico which is in Adam's mission, but he is still in Tijuana right now. Stacia is being so nice and tending Revin while we are gone. He will have fun in Vegas in the sunshine for a few days, plus he thinks Tayton is the funniest person on earth, so I am sure he will be entertained. My Grandma Evans is not doing well. Revin and I went to see her yesterday. She can't get out of bed anymore, so they are bringing in a hospital bed. She is still so sweet. We would say "we love you Grandma" and she would just smile and do a little chuckle. She can't talk very much at all anymore, but says yes and no and smiles. She is in a lot of pain right now because her liver is failing, so they are puting her on some pain medicine. I think she is ready to go see my Grandpa Evans. They are so in love. Just watching them in their lives, even though I'm sure they had their moments like we all do, I witnessed two people that truely loved one another more than anything. They will have an awesome reunion in Heaven.

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! On Christmas Eve we played in the snow and went sledding (in our front yard). You will notice that we have no sled so we improvised and used a snow shovel. Nice!

Then we went to Grandma Debbie's house to have our Christmas Eve party. My mom was taking care of Grandma Evans that night and we were so glad that she was there with us. We ate dinner and then had a talent show. Revin's talent is dancing like a mad man in his diaper, he refused to have pants on!

Then we went home and went to bed. When we woke up Santa had definitely come to our house and brought Revin a new bike and lots of other toys! He was pretty thrilled! I was also thrilled because Dan got me a Nikon D40 camera! Yay! You will notice how much nicer the pictures are.

After we opened our gifts Grandma and Grandpa Camp came over to visit then we headed to Parowan to See Grandma and Grandpa Johnson. We got to talk to Adam who is in Tijuana and it was so great to hear from him! He is doing really well, we missed him this Christmas! That night we went to the Grandma and Grandpa Camp's house for Christmas dinner.

It has been snowing and snowing in Cedar City! Dan has had to go in at 4 in the morining to plow at the college for several days. When he gets home, lucky him, he shovels more snow off of our driveway. Revin had a great time helping him! Revin is pretty amazed at the snow, this is the first time he has really noticed it.

Christmas Party

Last weekend we went to the annual Richfield Christmas party for Dan's side of the family. It is all of the Aunts and Uncles and cousins meeting together. This year they had a big blow up slide and a big jumping house. Revin was totally entertained! He had to go down the slide like a million times with Dan's niece Kiysa. We ate dinner, played bunko and did a little gift exchange. It was fun to see everyone.

Dan and I went to a Jazz game this Friday up in Salt Lake. We had a really fun time. We stayed in the Radisson Hotel which was really nice and super close to everything.
We planned to go to Olive Garden, but the wait was an hour so we ate at the Blue Iguana and had this little Mexican couple sing to us, I would recommend that place to anyone it was way good and way inexpensive.

Then we went to the Jazz game where we had great seats. The Jazz did awesome and won by around 30 points! Aren't we so fun that we wore our matching Jazz jerseys? I know, we are awesome! This is the Jazz Bear doing a handstand on a ladder, you cant see it real well because I forgot my camera (of course) and had to use my phone. We left Revin with Ben and Amy, they were so nice to tend for us.

*I am thankful for Dan. I am thankful that he found me and that he didn't give up when no one liked him, even I gave up a few times, but he never did. I really do think that opposites attract because there is no one more opposite than us. No one can make me as mad, make me as happy, make me laugh as hard, or understand me more than Dan!

*I am thankful for Revin. I love being his mom. I am so thankful to see his bright happy face in the morning, he brings such a warm spirit into our home. I am thankful for the little things he teaches me everyday like when he refuses to go to bed without us saying our little family prayers. He is what my life revolves around, I love him so much!

*I am thankful for my Parents and for my Big Family. My parents taught me so well, and I am so thankful for the way that they raised me. I love spending time with them and with all of my brothers and sisters. I have so much fun with all of them. I couldn't ask for a better family!

*I am thankful for my Huge Family that consists of Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and all. I love how close our family is, even though we might live apart. I am so thankful for the person that my Grandpa Evans was and that I am able to be his Grand Daughter. I am thankful for my Grandma Evans and for the sweet person that she is and has always been, I could go to her for anything.

*I am thankful for my home and car and all of the things that I have. I am thankful for the hardest working guy I know (Dan) that provides all of it. I am thankful for the opportunity that I have to stay home with Revin and watch him grow and learn, and be there for him when he needs me.

I love it when the time changes and it gets dark early and Dan is home for dinner, and we get to be a true little family. It is so awesome! I think I just get all excited because Thanksgiving is coming up and then Christmas. I love everything about them; the smells, the food, the family, the feeling. It is so fun to have a little guy to shop for! I am so excited to go shopping with my sisters this weekend at the Panguitch craft fair, and on black friday. It just makes me happy, am I a dork? Anyways, what got me thinking about all of this is that I found this picture of Revin last year dressed up as a shepard. Every year the kids in my family do a nativity, so I came up with this costume for Rev last year. It just makes me laugh at how fat he was! I just want to go back to that day and squeeze him because he is so cute!

So everyone always says that Revin looks like either my Dad or Jake, so I decided for Halloween that he could be a ups man. The only thing that I could think of that went along with a ups man was packages, so Dan and I were the packages. It was a pretty big hit. Revin made the cutest ups man ever! The costume was so huge that it will probably fit him for a couple more years. We went trick or treating to Dan's parents house and got a picture with all of his nieces and nephews, then we went to Grandma Debbie's and got some yummy cinnamon rolls and popcorn balls, then we went to Grandma Evans' house and entertained her with Revin's dancing, then we went to Aunt Paulines and finally to Dave and Heather's house! Revin was such a good sport and kept his ups hat on the whole day! He was so worn out that we both slept in until 9:00 this morning. I love mornings like that!

Working With Dad

On Saturday Dan and I went to my parent's house to dig trenches for their sprinkler system in their back yard. Dan dug them out with BobCat and Revin thought that it was pretty awesome. He thought it was even better when he got to take a ride in it. On Monday Revin just suddenly learned a new thing. Right when he got up in the morning he went into our room and said plain as day "Where is daddy." He says it over and over and I have to say he went bye he's at work then he usually will keep asking until I finally call Dan on the phone and he can talk to him. Isn't it funny how they suddenly just pick up on things? He learns so many new litte phrases everyday.

Grandpa Evans

My Grandpa Art Passed away on Wednesday October 15th . It was unexpected and I was shocked when I heard the news, I think that I just thought that he would live forever. He was 91 years old. I really loved my Granpa and thought that I had the funniest, greatest Grandpa in the world. He always made me laugh because he thought that he was so cute and clever and got such a kick out of himself. He was always calling people prince or princ"ass". When he would see me he would usually say "whats a crampin you?" He had a never ending list of words that he like to switch up like "boot reer", "bat rasstard", and he used to call me the "hong laired" girl. Usually the second he arrived somewhere he would say "well i'm goin".

Grandpa really liked my Dan because he appreciated a hard worker, and Dan definitely is that. After Dan and I got married his new saying when he would see me was "Where is Dan the Man?" He would call Revin little Dan, and even thought he didn't have a lot of strength because of his age, he would still always pick up Revin and sit him on his lap.

Grandpa was so supportive of everything that I or anyone in my family ever did. He made it to every blessing, baptism, sealing, everything. He was to every Rammette Review, Dance Review, or Clogging Review that I was ever in.

Grandpa was like a legend in Parowan because so many people knew him and loved him. He wasn't afraid to say what he was thinking even though sometimes he shouldn't have. I think that it was his goal to meet everyone in the world. I'll miss his crude jokes and sense of humor, but I will also miss hearing his awesome prayers and him sharing his testimony. He has been so good to my Grandma Evans while she struggles with her memory loss. He fixed her meals, tucked her in, and always had her by his side. He loved my Grandma so so much! I am grateful that he was able to have such a long, healthy, happy life. I will miss him so so much!

Goodbye to Adam

Adam was set-apart as a missionary on Tuesday and then afterwards we had a little get together at my parent's house to say goodbye. I didn't realize how emotional I was going to be. It is a comfort to know that he is going to the right place and doing the right thing at the right time. I think he will do just great. Revin loves Adam and always lays his head on his shoulder, so I am going to make sure he remembers him while he is gone. It is crazy because he is almost going to be 4 when Adam gets back!

So on Saturday Dan & I were going to Walmart to get us some new blinds and there was this lady there selling the cutest little pug puppy. For some reason I just had to have one and I just knew that Revin needed one. I was really in love with it for the first day and then when we woke up on Sunday morning and it pooped and peed on my carpet I was finished! I even had Dan try to call tradio this morning, but he couldn't get through. I wish Dan would have just told me no, but he was trying to be nice and get me something that I would enjoy. The puppy is so cute, but for right now he is going to have to live in the garage. Revin loves him and laughs and runs and wrestles with him so that is something positive. I have been a little scared to give him a name incase we sell him to someone, but we decided to name hime Boozer like the Utah Jazz player.

Flash Back To The Days Of Admo

This Sunday was Adam's Farewell. He did such a great job speaking in church, and I think he will make an excellent missionary. He is very excited and nervous all at the same time. It kind of makes me want to cry to think that the little Adam I always used to pick on growing up is now way bigger than me and leaving for two years. Adam has always had the best little personality, he is such a people person and can make friends with anyone. That is why he will make a good missionary. I have so many funny memories of him when he was little, like when he would sing "We shall be three" instead of free and when he would have to stop at every possible restroom on a trip because he must have had the smallest bladder in the world, and my freshman year of college when he was so excited because he was almost as tall as me, and we weighed the exact same. Anyways... I found these pictures from a trip that my mom, dad, Stacia, Adam & I went on to Tijuana Mexico. That is where Adam is going on his mission. Good luck Adam!

Our Anniversary

I am so mad at myself because I forgot to take my camera over to Parowan to the parade and to the little carnival after. I was watching Revin on one of the rides and telling Dan how sad I felt because we had no camera and a girl overheard me, so she got my email address and took a few pictures of Revin on different rides. Anyway I haven't seen them in my email yet, so I'll post them when they come. Then I did another dumb thing because Dan and I went to Vegas this weekend for our 4 year anniversary and again I forgot my camera. So here are some things that we did:

We want to KA at the MGM Grand it was awesome the stage was moving all over and people were flipping and falling and doing all sorts of crazy stuff.

We stayed at South Point Hotel, which was perfect because it is right in the middle of Stacia's house and the Las Vegas Strip. It was really nice and had nice big rooms.

Dan's favorite part was that we visited the Bass Pro Shop and he got a $100 shopping spree.

Stacia was so nice and tended Revin over night on Thursday and then we went swimming and had dinner with a couple of their friends at their house. It was fun to just talk and hang out. We ended up staying at their house that night. What I was really sad about is when I couldn't take pictures of Brentlee and Revin at the Bass Pro Shops. They have this huge fish tank and there was a mermaid inside. Revin was so amazed he just starred at her and she blew kisses to him. He and Brentlee just sat infront of the fish tank for almost a half hour.

On Saturday Dan, Revin and I spent the morning at New Castle. I decided to be a good sport and go fishing with Dan because he loves it so much. I had to back the truck and trailer down to the boat dock and drive the boat back in. Dan has to admit that he was pretty impressed with my abilities. Anyways, we had a fun time! The boat ran great and I had a fun time driving it around the lake. Dan caught a couple of fish and Revin enjoyed eating his fruit snacks, so everyone had a good time! I actually wouldn't mind doing that again!

How long have we been married: 4 Years on September 4th. We got married exactly a year from our first date.
Who said I love you first: For sure Dan. I was a little hesitant to say something that big. When I finally did say it, the next day I told him we couldn't see each other for a month.
Who is taller: Dan is.
Who sings better: Dan. I just like to pretend that I am Taylor Swift. He and Greg used to sing to me and my roomates in our living room. Funny!
Who is smarter: It depends on what the subject is.
Who pays the bills: That would be me, I am a good budget keeper bill payer lady.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed: Me for sure, I always have. Its funny because I even have to have the right side at motels.
Who mows the lawn: Again that would be me. Dan isn't home until dark, but I don't mind doing it because it makes our house look cuter.
Who cooks dinner: For sure me. I think Dan's mom spoiled him a little, he would not know how to boil water. Although, he does make french toast every once in a while.
Who drives: Dan. Even If I pick him up somewhere I slip into the passenger seat because I hate driving when he is in the car. He is too nervous.
Who's more stubborn: It depends on the situation, we both have our moments.
Who kissed who first: Ha ha! Dan tried first and I quickly turned my head because hello I didn't know how to kiss. I didn't have very good practice. Then I told him later that he could kiss me. I know, I'm such a dork.
Who asked who out: Dan called me out of the blue one day and asked me to the Clay Walker concert. He said he saw me in one of his sister's clogging pictures and dug up the info on me.
Who proposed: Dan did. He had already asked my parents which was the scariest part, then he took me to the Manti Pageant and asked me on the temple grounds! I cried and then laughed hard because the ring he got me was like a 71/2 haha!
His Best Feature: I have always loved Dan's eyes. On our first date I was so impressed that a boy could have such dark eybrows and eyelashes without puting makeup on them.
Who has more siblings: I do because I have six, but he is a triplet so he beats me there.
Who wears the pants in the family: Well just like the guy should, Dan does. But, I like to think of it as we each have one leg into the same pants, because we decide things together.
What do we like doing together: I love going on dates with Dan wether it is bowling or dinner or the movies it doesn't matter. I think we both just like hanging out with each other. We have had a busy week! Adam went through the temple on August 12th, he is so excited to go on his Mission and he thought the temple was awesome. I am so glad that Dan and I were able to share the experience with him. Then on Saturday we went to St George again because my cousin Evan got married. So, Dan and Mark and Greg turned 25 on July 24th. I bet you can't guess what Dan did for his birthday, Yep, he went fishing with his brothers. This is Dan and Greg in the picture (Dan thinks it is so awesome that I put up pictures of him fishing.) The next day Greg broke his leg riding on some type of two seater four wheeler. He fell out and it fell on him. Happy Birthday to him! No really, I feel bad. His ankle has a whole bunch of pins in it, and he had a huge cut on his foot that had to get a whole bunch of stitches. I'm sure he'll hang in there though!

The Revinator

This is Revin and his cousin Tyson who are just 2 months apart. It is pretty fun to have them so close. I was so suprised that Revin sat so nicely on the bench for me to take his picture. I can't believe how big he is getting. He is losing some of his baby fat and getting taller. He is so fun! No one told me that having a little boy could be so fun! What would I do without my little Revinator?

Swimming Fun

Every Monday Revin and I go swimming at the Parowan swimming pool. Usually with Heather's kids and Jamie's kids. He loves it! He dips his whole head into the water and then comes up laughing. It is pretty fun to watch. He refuses to sit in his baby float tube, so I got him floaties. I have to watch him really close because he is not afraid at all, and totally thinks he knows how to swim.

July 4th

We had an awesome 4th of July weekend. We started out at the Parowan parade, Revin was really interested in the fire trucks and kept trying to make noises that sounded like them. He thought the whole thing was pretty cool. Next we headed to the park and participated in some of the races. Dan had to run in front of Revin with a Coke and a cookie to make him run, but it worked! After that everyone headed to my mom and dad's house for grandpa's birthday party/ Johnson family reunion. We had a blast. My mom got this huge waterslide and the kids had tons of fun on it. Even my dad went down! Grandpa sat in his mule that the drove into the backyard and he and grandma enjoyed the whole thing. Tons of family came, and it was so good to see everyone. That night we camped out in tents in my parents back yard. It worked out perfectly because in the morning Adam got his mission call to Tiajuana Mexico and we were all there to celebrate! It was a wonderful 4th of July.

Our Hawaii Vacation

At the end of May Dan and I went on a Hawaiian Cruise. It was so so pretty. I feel like I want to move there most days. We had a really great time, the hardest and best thing was that we left Revin at home. We missed him tons, but couldn't have done all we did with him. We visited the islands of Maui, Hilo, Kona, Kauai, and Honolulu.

Revin turned one on February 24th. We had a party at Grandma Debbie's house and everyone came. His favorite part about it was the cake! I have never seen a kid who loves to eat that much!
